When I made these mugs, I wasn’t trying to make something perfect.
I was trying to make something honest.
As a DeafBlind potter, I had to figure out a process I could trust—
something that allowed me to glaze the inside, make it safe to use,
and still stay true to the story God was teaching me.
These mugs became a reminder that
you don’t have to have everything perfect to keep going.
When you hold this mug, my hope is simple:
that you remember you can live beyond your challenge…
even if life isn’t perfect—
it can still be just enough to keep going today.

These are handmade mugs.
No two are exactly the same—
just like no two stories are the same.
The shape, markings, and small details will vary slightly,
but the clay body, color, and glaze style will remain consistent.

I want to be very clear—
I most likely will not make this style again using this clay.
These mugs represent a specific season in my life
and the lessons God taught me through it.
Once they are gone, they are gone.
